Mole Removal

Safe, cosmetically-minded removal of moles and skin lesions — by excision or shave, with the option of testing, and the finest possible scar.

Mole Removal

What it is

Mole removal takes off unwanted, changing or bothersome moles by precise excision or shave technique. Where there is any concern, the tissue is sent for histology. The emphasis throughout is on a safe removal and a discreet scar.

Who it's for

  • Cosmetically unwanted or prominent moles
  • Moles catching on clothing or being irritated
  • Changing moles needing assessment
  • Anyone wanting expert, cosmetic removal

The procedure

A quick procedure under local anaesthesia. Flat moles may be shaved level; raised or suspicious ones are excised and closed with fine sutures.

Recovery & aftercare

Minor soreness and a small scab or sutures. Sutures, if used, come out in five to ten days. Quick return to activity.
