Dr. Bedi began her surgical training at Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana, completing her MBBS with distinction in 2007 and her MS in General Surgery in 2011. She then pursued the MCh in Plastic Surgery at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi — one of South Asia's foremost centres for burns, hand surgery and reconstructive work.
Her time at Safdarjung shaped a particular sensibility: that aesthetic and reconstructive surgery are not separate disciplines but two ends of one continuum. The patient who comes for a brow lift and the patient who comes after an industrial burn are owed the same standard of preparation, technique and follow-through.
After her consultancy at Max Hospital Mohali, Dr. Bedi founded SkinOGraft in 2021 as an independent, female-led practice — small enough to know every patient by name, equipped to handle everything from a fifteen-minute injectable to a six-hour reconstruction.
She is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI) and the National Academy of Burns India (NABI). She lectures regularly at APSICON and NABICON, and continues to publish in the field of acute burn fluid resuscitation.
