Breast Reduction
Relief from the back, neck and shoulder strain of overly large breasts — reducing volume and lifting to a comfortable, proportionate, well-shaped size.
What it is
Breast reduction removes excess breast tissue, fat and skin, then lifts and reshapes the breast to a size proportionate to your frame. It is as much a functional procedure — relieving pain and restriction — as an aesthetic one.
Who it's for
- Back, neck or shoulder pain from heavy breasts
- Skin irritation in the breast fold
- Difficulty exercising or finding clothing that fits
- Patients seeking both comfort and shape
The procedure
Performed under general anaesthesia over two to three hours. Tissue is removed and the breast reshaped and lifted, with the nipple repositioned. Usually a single-night stay.
Recovery & aftercare
A supportive bra is worn for several weeks. Desk work resumes in one to two weeks; full activity at six weeks.
